The french FinTech company KNAVE is accelerating the transition to the usage economy for distributors and manufacturers of personal equipment. KNAVE builds, finances and manages their rental and subscription offerings on a white-label basis.
Retailers are rolling out these new services across their networks quickly and without investment, responding to growing consumer demand for flexible access to equipment that is used occasionally.
The comprehensive, end-to-end solution combines rental stock management, technology that does not require IT integration, and comprehensive operational process management. KNAVE removes all barriers to the implementation of rental offers in distribution networks and enables them to address the challenges of purchasing power, overconsumption, and sustainability. KNAVE's approach is in line with the principles of the circular economy and sustainable consumption. It meets consumers' growing expectations for simplified and responsible access to quality equipment, while providing retailers with a strategic lever for growth.
Les fondateurs
A graduate of Audencia Business School in 1997, Jérôme Beillevaire is a recognised expert in European retail and e-tail distribution of manufactured goods. He spent his career at SONY, TOSHIBA and LG Electronics, holding various management positions in France and Europe. He then headed up sales and marketing at Avidsen France, contributing to the growth of white label B2C home automation for DIY groups such as Kingfisher and ADEO.
In 2018, at Fintech EVOLLIS, he met Edouard Vaujour, with whom he co-founded KNAVE in 2019. Their unique pay-per-use solution has been adopted by various sectors such as automotive, DIY and childcare equipment. While developing KNAVE, Jérôme spends his free time with his family and friends on the French Atlantic coast.
After graduating from HEC Paris in 2013, he simultaneously completed a Master's degree in international taxation at Panthéon-Assas University. This legal and financial background enabled him to be highly versatile from the start of his career in investment banking. Quickly recognised by Paris's leading financiers, he oversaw the execution of major international financing for industrial projects totalling more than €2 billion in France between 2015 and 2017.
Then, he joined the management team of a consumer credit Fintech company, where he discovered the environmental and societal limitations of traditional finance. This experience led to the creation of KNAVE, which he co-founded with his colleague, partner and friend Jérôme Beillevaire in 2019, to provide the first omnichannel payment solution for use without commitment.

KNAVE Retail is aimed at brands, retailers and manufacturers wishing to develop rental or subscription offers for capital goods: DIY, household appliances, furniture, childcare, musical instruments, soft mobility, etc.
KNAVE provides a comprehensive and customisable solution that can be quickly deployed in physical and e-commerce networks.
